About the DAIRY-FREE Program
The Dairy-Free program is designed for individuals with a cow's milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance. The menu is formulated without milk and all dairy products while respecting the principles of a varied and balanced diet.
In the menu, you will find both popular traditional dishes and meals inspired by world cuisine. The program consists of 3 main meals a day and is available in several energy variants to suit different needs and lifestyles.
Ingredients
When preparing our meals, we emphasize quality and natural ingredients.
In the program, we use:
- quality protein sources such as eggs, lean meat, fish, and legumes
- traditional and less common side dishes, such as buckwheat, quinoa, amaranth, or millet
- quality vegetable oils, nuts, and seeds as a source of healthy fats
- occasionally, we include plant-based alternatives to dairy products
Thanks to careful ingredient selection, the menu is not only nutritionally balanced but also rich in flavor.
Nutrition Window on the Topic
The Dairy-Free program is primarily intended for individuals who, for health reasons, cannot consume milk and dairy products. However, eliminating an entire food group can result in a lower intake of certain essential nutrients, primarily calcium, as well as vitamin D, vitamin B12, and iodine.
Although calcium can also be obtained from plant sources (such as poppy seeds, sesame seeds, almonds, broccoli, or mineral waters with a higher calcium content), its absorption rate is often lower than from dairy products. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure an adequate intake of these foods and, if necessary, consult your doctor or nutritional therapist regarding appropriate supplementation.
If you only suffer from lactose intolerance and do not have a cow's milk protein allergy, it is generally not necessary to completely eliminate dairy products. Many people tolerate smaller amounts of fermented dairy products or aged hard cheeses well, as they contain only minimal amounts of lactose. If your health condition permits, you can add them to your meal boxes according to your individual tolerance.
Cow's milk protein allergy and lactose intolerance are two distinct conditions that require different dietary approaches. In case of any uncertainty, we recommend consulting a physician or a nutritional specialist.
